*ROSE*

She walked alongside the road towards the bridge. She turned to him,
"I'm sorry, it's not going to work. I can't take it anymore," She looked down in shame and depression. He looked worried, his cross trailing around his neck.
"Don't do it," he pleaded.
"Why? you said you loved me, it's true, isn't it? you'll lve me forever?"
"I...I..." he looked at her pleading face. "Yes, I will." He put on a weak smile. She smiled faintly, looked at him. She walked towards him. kissed him on the cheek and walked back to the bridge.
"I love you Isaac, i do. I'm sorry." She stepped over the bridge.
He was paralyzed. "NO!" he ran to her.
Too late. She jmped over, he looked over, he saw her falling. Her nightgown a goldern rusty while floating in the water. Her crimson hair floating in the water.
Tears fell from his eyes. "No!" He muttered. He felt the bustle of the people push aside him. None of them knew her. None of them cared. They weren't there when it started. He was pushed inside the invisible crowd.

He woke up screaming. He touched his cheek, where she'd last kissed him. He threw his covers off himn, and jumped off the park bench ignored the tear that fell from his right eye.

*FRAN*

Anessa walked around the park and saw Travis, formally known as Isaac five years ago.
"Hey," she said seeing he was upset, "fancy a chat? or just the company?" She asked sitting next to him.

*ROSE*

"I had that dream again," he sighed, wiping his tears away. He smiled faintly. For a homeless guy he was quite hygeneic, and smelt fresh. He was wearing clean clothes, and a pair of converse.
"I miss her. I do. I sais, I'd love her forever, but sometimes I miss her so much I hate her." He still wore the cross.

*FRAN*

"I understand, Can I ask you something?"

*ROSE*

"Yes."

*FRAN*

"Will you move in with me?"

*ROSE*

"Huh? I suppose, but I barely know you & vice versa."

*FRAN*

"I know enough, I don't want you to spend any more time on this bench."

*ROSE*

"But, why? The reason I'm here is because of society." He looked sad for a moment, but smiled a little, he surprisingly liked her company.

*FRAN*

"But I am not part of this society, I'm an individualist."

*ROSE*

"I know, I know. You're better than them."

*FRAN*

"Don't we know it." She smiled.

He smiled, looked at her, made eye contact and then looked away apologizing. He looked around him, people just ignored the pair sitting on the bench.

He smiled. �You�re decent, they�re not � I wasn�t invisible to you, to them I was.� He looked at her, admiring her pretty face. �You raised me up, when I was left in a ditch.�

*FRAN*

She smiled �Well I tried, I care about you.�

�It�s ok�shall we go and pick Callum up from school?�

*ROSE*

�Erm�what are you gonna tell him?� He was already standing, and was waiting for her to lead the way.

*FRAN*

�Lodger?� She asked walking towards the school.

*ROSE*

�Yeah, how old is he?�

*FRAN*

�Four.�

*ROSE*

�Awww�That�s such a cute age!�

*FRAN*

�Ye, he lost his dad when he was two.�

*ROSE*

�That must have been bad�I�m sorry.�

*FRAN*

�It�s ok. It was a car accident, two weeks after we married.�

*ROSE*
�That must have been horrible,� he sighed trying to put Petal out of his mind she was pregnant when she died.

*FRAN*
�Anyway we�re here.� She said stopping in front of the gate.

*ROSE*
�Goody, which kid is he?� he asked, watching other parents arriving & giving him dodgy looks.

*FRAN*
�Mummy!� a child shouted running to her.
�Hey little man.�

*ROSE*

He smiled, �he�s a spitter of you!�

*FRAN*

She smiled. �Ye he is.�
Callum looked at Travis and smiled. �Are you mummy�s new husband?� he asked innocently.
Anessa looked shocked and laughed.
�No hunny, he is our lodger; he�ll be living with us.� She said politely and the child hugged Travis.
�Yay!�

*ROSE*

�Erm�yay?� He looked puzzled.

*FRAN*

�He likes you.� Anessa said, �I�m not surprised.�

�What�s that supposed to mean? I'm not that good.� He laughed. It was bringing the pain of five years ago back to him, it hurt like a sharp pain in the back of the mind. He refused to cry. It was five years ago, but how old would that kid be now, if she hadn�t have died? That unborn baby would be about Callum�s age? It would�ve been about four

'I musn't have found the right woman then,' He muttered, hoping she wouldn't hear. That made sense he suppossed. He just could never forgive for killing herself and the unborn child. He smiled at him. He looekd at her and smiled, so where is this new lodge then?"
