She pulled awawy from his arms and stormed a few steps ahead of him "God.. i knew this would happen... not only do you have the nerve to ask me that, but you have the nerve to think that i would know, and on the first time seeing me.. i thought you'd changed..." She loked at him, "but your just as thoughtless as before..." She said not being able to cope withthe question.

She looked at him "Why ask me? WHy ak me now?" She looked at the back of his head and wished she had somethign heavy to throw at him for turning away instead of looking at her, she picked a stone from off the floor, and threw it at his back, "How dare you!" She yelled at him. Why had he asked her as if she would know, as if she hadnt left that side of her behind. Prehaps that is all he had wanted to meet up with her for, his own selfish reason because he was insecure. She stopped and took a deep breath in an attempt to calm herself down.

"How dare I? I thought you loved me! I only wanted to know so I could prepare myself for him, if he tries to posess me again! It sems you have left the old Mercades, the one I loved, behind. She lokoed at him "You havent changed.. from what you were you dont care, else you wouldnt have though that i am even associated with Him anymore! I nkow he can be dangerous but dont you think a question like that hurts?" She said her voice calm now and tears gathering "i'm sorry i snaped at you..."

She took a step closer to him, noteing the laughter and kept it in mind, " Well i dont have your answer." She said softly, "And if thats all that you wanted from me, was security from my father, then im afraid i cant offer you that." It seemed to explain everything, even the reason he had waited in the rai, who wouldnt if they thoguth it meant completel security. She looked to the floor and expected him and waited for him to shimmer outnowt aht he coudlnt get what he had wanted from her.

"Okay then. Wanna catch a quick movie?" He pulled out his mobile, it was ringing.
"Hello? Oh, hi. No I didn't. Yes. I did. Since when?! Whatever. Yeah, okay then. When? Now? I can't. Nope. Why would I go out with her again? Last night was crap, she didn't have a clue what she was doing. Yeah. I woke up and she was already gone. Um...... tell her that I'll talk to her later. Right. No probs, then. Hold on a min! Tell her to meet me at my house at 12 tonight. I'll talk to her then. Okay. Bye."
He looked up as he put his phone in his pocket.
"Sorry about that. Wanna go then?" He smiled. His eyes seemed brighter than before.

She looked up at him her eyes widened "My mother always said it was rude to eavsdrop but i never really did belive her..." She said as she lokoed at him her mouth slightl open with shock, lokoing ath im, "I dont think i wanna go to a movie.." She said loking horrified by this point, she couldnt beliv what she had justheard, she sighed she wouldnt blame him though, she couldnt expect him to have not seen anyone because of her. She shook her head and tried to think of a single thing to say but her mind just kept replaying what she had just heard. She lokoed up at him knowning that he would know what was wrong. almost asking him for an explaination without saying a word.

"What?" He asked looking at her. "You didn't expect me to wait for you did you? I mean, yeah, I still love you, but the thing was I thought we would never see each other again. So, I moved on. I mean you were the best thing to ever happen to m-" His phone rang again. "What is it now?" He spat down the phone. "She said what?! That bitch! I'll kill her!! Yes, I will. You can't stop me! Remember last time you went up against me?"
The voice on the phone got louder.
"Yes, I do. I still have the marks. Who knew you could still do that?" The voice asked.
"Me. Listen I can't talk right now. Ring me about 8. I will be able to talk then. Okay tell her for me. I need this to be settled. She doesn't call me soft and get away with it! See you later, mate. Bye."
He put the phone back in his pocket.
"What you wanna do then? I gotta be back for 11:30. If you don't want a movie, do you wanna eat out?" His voice was forced calm.

"erm idont know if thats such a good idea i mean you've gotta be free at 8, and i dont wanan intrude." She started to feel like she was on the out side lokoing in, she had only felt that way once beofre and that was when Dark had cheated on her with Chris, she felt the disgusting feeling rise up in her throat as sh had done on that day, she pushed it out of her mind, "I can see your- busy... I should just go..." She said starting to realise that mabye this wasnt ment to be between them, obviously he had moved on. It was probably about time she did. She sighed at the silly schoolgirl thoughts she had had before he had gotten to the felid, of them getting together again aand it all ending happily, she realised the stupidity of her wimsicle thoughts and brushed them aside in hermind, "I wont keep you, you probably have alot to do, to sort out right..." She said looking up at him not sure how to say goodbye.

She wanted to run forward and help him and ask him what has wrong as she would havw done in n instant before, she knelt down and picked up the phone and look up to him silently, her eyes met his worried stare "What happened?" She asked quietly... "Or is it buisness i cant know about?" She said snidely. She couldnt belive that the guy she had met was now into one night stands and all the buisness she loked at him her icey eyes the colest they had ever been her icy galre paralysing.

Mercades put her ear to the phone, "I think he'll call you back later..." She said as she hung up the phone. " Dark, what's wrong," She asked concearnedly she tried not to show her feelings of worry but they seeped through her voice, she knew she wasnt goign to like any answer he was going to come out with so she braced herself and loked up prepared for the answer. She stepped closer so she was infront of him "Whats happened." She asked calmly, she smirked to herlsef, at least it coudlnt have anythign to do with her this time.

Chris.... is dead?" she looked to the floor before clasping her hands together, "He wouldn't want you to seek revenge at his death, killing her isnt the answer..." she said looking at him and his eyes, "please just hink this through please, Dark!" She pleaded.

She looked at him and did the only thing she coudl do, she didnt know if it would help or not but she flung her arms around his neck and hugged him tightly whilst she thoguth of what they could do.... She smiled and realised for the first time in a long time she had thought "We" instead of "Him" or "herself".

She lifted her hands up to his face and wiped away the tears wit her sleeve, "Yaeh, we should try that..." she said reassuringly. She looked into his eyes her icey walls had melted and just left the icey colour but a deeper warmth inside.

She increased her heart beat rapily and her chest began to raie quicker and quicker as if she was having a heart attack her breating became irregular, she quickly grabbed Dark's hand aand when she opeed her eyes everywhere was frozem just like when Dark had proposed to her and she had left the room frozen, she looked up at him smilign as if asking if that was ok.
